Level One Machinist
Specific Responsibilities:

Basic understanding of Blue prints.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Ability to follow Process sheets, understands sign off requirements.

Ability to check part that you are machining.

Basic knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments, Calipers, Tape. Measure and scales.

Ability to use basic fixtures and use techniques needed for clamping. And work holding.

Able to follow proper operation of loading parts.

Understanding of proper deburring of machined part.

Ability to possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding subtracting, multiplication, Divisions.
Qualifications and Physical Demands:

High School Diploma

Machine shop courses either in high school or through skilled trade.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
