Truck Driver

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate company-owned trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.

  • Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials. 

  • Perform required before-, during- and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.

  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. 

  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. 

  • Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition. 

  • Ability to operate a fork truck for loading and unloading of products.

 

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

  • Valid Driver’s license with CDL required

  • Clean driver’s license record

  • The truck driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations making deliveries and picking up product throughout the region

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.

  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
