Robot Welding Operator

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Basic knowledge of welding process.

  • Ability to follow the robotic start up and shut down procedure.

  • Ensure productions rates are met or exceeded.

  • Ability to follow job traveler sheets and understands sign off requirements.

  • Understanding of proper cleaning methods of welded part.

  • Able to properly load and unload parts from robotic fixture. 

  • Ability to fill out robot documentation, daily robot operator sign off sheet and maintenance log. 

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and or other duties assigned from supervisor and or management.

 

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

  • High School Diploma.

  • One (1) year of experience in welding through a skilled trades program.

  • Experience with robotics.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.

  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
