Specific Responsibilities:

 

1. Quality System & Product Inspection Responsibilities:

• Responsible to support and follow the CIGNYS QMS.

• Inspection of product as provided by manufacturing.

• Accept or reject product based on the requirements included in drawings, specifications, standards and other customer requirements. 

• Generate records, reports and other inspection documents as instructed based on the customer requirements and QMS requirements. 

• Ability to conduct and document FAI to customer and AS 9102 requirements as directed by the Quality Supervisor. 

• Perform random in process floor inspections as required.

• Perform Receiving Inspection as required. 

 

 

 

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

 

• Minimum of 4 years as a Quality Inspector. 

• Basic computer skills

• Knowledge of basic hand tools and gauging equipment

• Basic drawing translation and reading skills. 

• Capable of programming CMM and generation of reports

• Capable of inspection for technical and diverse products. 

• Capable of working with PC DMIS software.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
