Level One Assembler

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Basic understanding of Blue prints. 

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

  • Basic use and knowledge of hand tools such as; wrenches, socket sets and screwdrivers. 

  • Basic knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments, calipers, tape measure and scales.

  • Ability to use basic fixtures and use techniques needed for clamping and work holding.

  • Understanding of proper deburring of machined part.

  • Ability to possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding subtracting, multiplication, Divisions.

  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.

  • Communicates with management, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.

 

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

  • High School Diploma

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.

  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
